AsiaInfo Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq:ASIA), a leading provider of telecom software solutions in China, today announced that it has signed contracts to provide Chongqing Mobile and Jiangxi Mobile with its analytical Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software solution. In addition, AsiaInfo has been awarded a contract to upgrade Sichuan Mobile's original CRM system.
Embedded with technology components such as data warehousing, online analytical processing (OALP) and data mining, AsiaInfo's CRM solution can analyze data generated by any Business Operation Support System, providing telecom carriers with a highly flexible and powerful tool for decision making. AsiaInfo won the Ministry of Information Industry's (MII) "Outstanding Telecom Software Solution" award for this product in October 2002.
"We are pleased to announce these important contract wins," said Xingsheng Zhang, president and Chief Executive Officer of AsiaInfo. "We are rapidly and aggressively grabbing CRM market share, in large part due to having the largest BOSS installation base in China. The announcement of five CRM contract wins with five of China Mobile's major subsidiaries in one month is not only a testament to the strength of our award winning product and high quality service, but also further reinforces AsiaInfo's leadership in both the BOSS and CRM markets. We are confident that our market position will enable us to achieve promising revenue growth, both in continuing to provide our customers with CRM solutions that allow them to capitalize on critical market intelligence, and by helping them further update and consolidate their BOSS platforms to achieve better business integration and higher management efficiency."
