Delfour Adds ACOM's EZConnect EDI to WarehouseLogic in Nordic Cold Storage B2B Ecommerce Upgrade

Delfour Corporation, a global provider of third party logistics (3PL) solutions, ACOM Solutions, Inc., Long Beach, California, and Nordic Cold Storage, Atlanta, have completed a joint EDI development project that provides easy EDI mapping, automated data translation, and up to three different types of database mapping between Nordic and its clients. The project, which integrates ACOM's EZConnect EDI/XML solution with Delfour's WarehouseLogic warehouse management solution, was initiated in December 2002 and the first of Nordic's major clients went live with the new solution in late March.

The conversion from an existing EDI package went smoothly and was seamless. As stated by Jack Pretts, Director of Information Technology Services at Nordic "the entire conversion to ACOM and the methods required for an on going EDI system are fantastic".

Currently, the Nordic IT team is converting the remaining trading partners to the ACOM EZConnect product and is utilizing the "Flat File" translation capability for a new client. EZConnect appears much easier to use and its flexibility should enable Nordic to become more self-efficient with their ongoing EDI business requirements enabling cost savings and an increased level of customer service to their customers.

EZConnect is a Windows-based EDI/XML data translation, data management and complete partner communications platform. It supports direct access to multiple databases as well as flat file and XML interfaces. EZConnect includes a Standards Dictionary, Testing Tool, Implementation Builder, Communications and Data Manager and Automatic Implementation Wizard. EZConnect is designed to scale from a standalone workstation for a small business up to an industrial high transaction volume, lights out 24x7 environment.
