What: The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) and
Los Angeles Dodgers are teaming up to bring Dodger Jams
to the Bret Harte Middle School in South Los Angeles.
Dodger Jams is a school assembly featuring live music and
entertainment combined with motivational messages from

"Sweet" Lou Johnson. Following the motivational session,
the young leaders will be treated to performances by
local musicians and dancers. The LADWP Diversity exhibit
will also be on-hand staffed by members of the LADWP
Speakers Bureau to educate the kids about water
conservation and the wise use of electricity during the
           summer months.
