Hilary Duff's "Why Not" Video Debuts at #10 on MTV'S TRL

After just one week in release, Walt Disney Records' "The Lizzie McGuire Movie Soundtrack" debuts at #1 on Billboard's Soundtrack chart and at #18 on Billboard's Top Album chart with 50,836 units sold its first week. Hilary Duff's "Why Not" music video also debuts at #10 on MTV's TRL. In addition, Hilary is scheduled to host TRL on Thursday, May 2nd.

Radio Disney makes history with its mega hit promotion "Why Not spend the day with Hilary Duff" generating nearly 1 million phone calls (more than double their regular weekly call volume). Additionally, numerous kid listeners have called in and driven "Why Not" to become #2 on Radio Disney's Top 30 Countdown.

Only in theatres, Disney's "The Lizzie McGuire Movie" serves up the comic foibles of lovable Lizzie McGuire and her pals Gordo, Kate, and Ethan, who all pack their bags and plan to live la dolce vita while on a class trip to Italy. But is Italy ready for Lizzie McGuire?!

Vitamin C's fresh new take on "Volare" and Haylie Duff's "Girl In The Band" round out the line-up on this upbeat soundtrack.
