MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 14, 2003
Minneapolis-based marketing communications agency Colle McVoy announced today that it has selected Wavexpress (New York) to leverage and expand its advertising, brand development, public relations and interactive service offerings.
Using Wavexpress' TVTonic(TM) technology, Colle McVoy will be able to offer measurable, HDTV-quality, online global channels to clients. The new partnership is a significant technological step forward; the agency is the first marketing organization in the country to apply Wavexpress technology for secure commercial and private branded distribution of film, television, music and other digital content.
Wavexpress, majority-owned by Wave Systems Corp (Nasdaq:WAVX), has developed a proprietary product, TVTonic, for the secure distribution, broadcast and management of HDTV-quality content that is ideally suited for business-to-consumer and business-to-business applications. TVTonic serves as an alternative to traditional broadcast mediums. Applications include advertising, product promotion, political campaigns, entertainment, public relations, crisis communications, training and education.
"We're always looking for new ways to enhance the service we deliver to our clients to help them improve the return from their sales and marketing investments, from strengthening brand recognition to fostering customer loyalty to improving the productivity from distribution channels," said Chuck Kushell, CEO of Colle McVoy. "Wavexpress provides us with a powerful new tool to achieve these goals, and we're happy to be the first in our industry to offer this technology to our clients."
"As the first marketing agency to apply TVTonic to client service, Colle McVoy is enhancing its best-in-class reputation with clients," said Michael Sprague, vice president, production services, Wavexpress. "By having the ability to turn most computers into a high-definition storage and playback tool like a TV, the agency will have a new channel to broadcast business-to-consumer and business-to-business messages anywhere in the world. Colle McVoy will be able to offer an international cast of clients an entirely new channel of communication that shows immediate return on investment, enhances revenue and improves customer service."
