LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 18, 2003

The City of North Platte, Nebraska has chosen to equip its fire department with a complete ProMag6 magnetic leak and rupture sealing system, joining a growing list of fire departments that have realized the importance of ProMag, manufactured by Trident Technologies, a wholly-owned subsidiary of 21st Century Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB: TFCT) Utilizing federal funding to acquire Trident's most flexible and capable version of ProMag, North Platte's fire department will be equipped to seal ruptures and leaks quickly and efficiently, even those caused by intentional acts of vandalism or terrorism.

ProMag is a rare-earth permanent magnet-powered sealing system, employing high technology to provide powerful, easily applied leak seals, which require no welding. ProMag is especially useful in HAZMAT situations because application requires so little time and attendant exposure. The devices have been successfully deployed in many emergency situations, including tank car derailments, storage tank ruptures and pipeline leaks. A version of ProMag designed for marine use known as SeaPatch has successfully halted hull leaks at sea. The magnets that power the system have been purchased by the U. S. Navy and Canadian Military Authority for specialized application. These magnets are successfully performing to their design specifications. Many of the country's largest companies, such as Exxon-Mobil (NYSE:XOM), Dow Chemical (NYSE:DOW), Conoco (NYSE:COP) and the Union Pacific Railroad (NYSE:SP).

North Plattewas first exposed to ProMag at the Department of Transportation's Emergency Response School at Pueblo, Colorado, where the uses of the ProMag system are taught to emergency response personnel. Similar exposure encourages other fire departments, such as Honolulu and El Paso, to acquire ProMags. The system is also taught at similar schools in Texas and Louisiana. The company donated ProMags to the schools for training purposes.

"It's a matter of exposure and funding," said Arland D. Dunn, President and CEO of 21st Century Technologies. "When North Platte had the funds available to it to acquire ProMag, it did. We are currently working with the Department of Homeland Security to provide funds that will enable ALL of the nation's 31,000 plus fire departments to acquire ProMags, as did North Platte. When the funding is in place, demand for our unique system, ProMag, will skyrocket. This will be good for the Company, but most of all, it will be good for the nation, offering a new level of protection against terrorist-caused sabotage and safe, quick handling of HAZMAT leaks."
