Guardian Mortgage Documents Strengthens Executive and Sales Teams with Five New Additions

LAKEWOOD, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 25, 2003

Guardian Mortgage Documents (GMD), provider of technology-based solutions for loan document preparation and system flow management to the national lender community, has added five new members to its executive and sales teams, bringing more than 90 years additional industry experience to the firm.

Raymond Smith, vice president of IT and Sales Support, provides IT support for all sales efforts and the management of GMD's product and software development organizations. Smith has more than 30 years' experience working at senior and executive level positions for IBM, Tandem Telecom, Computer Power (ALLTEL) and eOriginal. He has managed multi-million dollar technology platforms in telecommunications, e-commerce, banking and mortgage banking environments. He has also managed system architecture; conducted post-sales implementations and audits; and led large-scale implementations of systems involving complex technology. He holds a B.B.A. in Management from St. Edwards University.

Jacob Naeb, director of Network Services, is responsible for network operations, design and operational standards, overseeing desktop PC support, LAN support, network administration, and WAN functional areas. Naeb has more than twenty years of experience in the computer, IT, defense, energy, and telecom industries and has led large multinational data networking projects in the U.S. and China. He is a member of the Project Management Institute, and most recently worked with the Transportation Security Administration designing secure airport networks. Naeb graduated cum laude with a B.A. from the University of California at San Diego, and an M.A. from the University of Hawaii, where he was an East-West Center Scholar.

Burton Embry, vice president of Compliance, is responsible for further enhancing GMD's assistance in servicing customers looking for both business and compliance advice. Embry has served as a senior executive for more than 18 years with several major financial institutions such as Equity One, EMS Financial, Key Home Equity Services, NationsCredit Home Equity Services, Banc One Financial Services and GE Capital Mortgage Services. Additionally, Burton serves on the Board of Directors of the National Home Equity Mortgage Association (NHEMA) and on the association's Legislative and Government Affairs Committee. He has previously served on several committees of the American Financial Services Association as well as being a former member of the Advisory Committee to the American Association of Residential Mortgage Regulators.

Oscar Aizcorbe, vice president Sales and Marketing, is responsible for working with national accounts and general business development. For the past 20 years, Aizcorbe has held a variety of positions with mortgage banking and Wall Street firms. He worked in traditional production areas with Century Mortgage, Columbia First, Sears PNC and BancFinancial. He spent five years rolling out Loan Prospector while at Freddie Mac. While at Lehman Brothers, he was part of the senior team, which had oversight responsibility for a sizeable mortgage-related technology investment.

Jonathan Kunkle, account executive, has joined GMD's sales team and helps develop direct and indirect sales channels for the firm. He has 15 years' experience in various management positions, and holds a B.A. in business management from Central Michigan University.
