ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 8, 2003

The best deal of the summer just got EVEN better with Scion Car

giveaways and Sneaker Pimp Exhibition

Sprite and Creative Artists Agency (CAA) announced today two value added elements to the Sprite Liquid Mix Tour. Scion, Fuse and the Sprite Liquid Mix Tour will giveaway two 2004 Scions, the xA and the xB. Registration will be both online at fuse.tv and on-site at the Scion booth. Winners will be announced live on Fuse's IMX show the week of September 22nd.

Just added to the already incredible array of festival elements are Sneaker Pimps. An exhibition that showcases up to 400 pairs of limited & rare edition sneakers from all over the world and sneaker inspired artworks. The concept originated in Sydney, by Padora and Peter Fahey due to the increasing interest within urban underground culture for collectors alike to showcase their collections.

The main stage of the tour will feature N.E.R.D. with Kelis, O.A.R., The Roots, Talib Kweli, Robert Randolph & the Family Band and Skillz, while Slightly Stoopid, Jessy Moss, High Speed Scene, Spymob, The Wylde Bunch, Borialis and Red Wanting Blue will perform on the second stage (see below for more detailed information per date.)

Critically and commercially acclaimed producers/artists N.E.R.D. (aka the Neptunes which includes Pharrell Williams) bring their Star Trak posse--Kelis, Spymob and High Speed Scene--on the road. Also on tour are O.A.R., one of the most successful indie bands ever with a mind-blowing number of devotees; prolific press darlings and Grammy winners, The Roots; the thought-provoking and positive hip hop icon, Talib Kweli; inspired pedal steel guitarist Robert Randolph and The Family Band and Rawkus veteran MC Skillz ads grassroots hip hop flavor. The Neptunes (Arista) and Robert Randolph and the Family Band (Warner Brothers) drop their latest releases on August 5th.

Sprite Liquid Mix features both established and rising musical artists ranging from hip hop to rock, and returns with the cultural and musical diversity established with 2002's legendary line-up. The successful inaugural year with headliners, Jay-Z and the Roc-A-Fella Family, 311, N.E.R.D., Hoobastank and Nappy Roots boasted nearly sold out venues in every market and established a solid foundation for a tremendous 2003 Sprite Liquid Mix Tour.

This is the best deal of the summer with most tickets priced at just 10 bucks! More than a concert tour, Sprite Liquid Mix is an expression of the urban experience featuring a fusion of music, street sports and entertainment.

Sprite Liquid Mix is a seven-hour event, catering to a cross-cultural, ethnically diverse teen and young-adult audience. The Sprite Liquid Mix venue will be an open, and constantly evolving, environment where fans, artists and athletes participate in the event's free expression and free exchange of music, culture, sport and activity. Festival elements are expected to include the PlayStation(R)2 Urban Playground featuring BMX bikers, an NBA RHYTHM N RIMS half court and the exclusive BLOCKBUSTER(R) Video Gaming Lounge showcasing free game play on PlayStation(R)2 computer entertainment systems and software titles as well as free game rental offers from BLOCKBUSTER(R). Additionally, Scion Sessions will feature local DJ talent and graffiti artists painting on Scion vehicles and the Pinnacle "Work It" Performance Zone will feature strength and endurance contests.
