PLEASANTON, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 10, 2003
Motiva, Inc., a leading provider of enterprise incentive management (EIM) software, today announced that Acme Brick Company has selected the Motiva Enterprise Incentive Management Suite to manage incentive compensation for nationwide sales of its brick and concrete building products. A subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway Inc., Acme Brick manufactures more than 1.1 billion bricks per year and operates 32 plants, 11 tile distribution warehouses, and 44 sales offices throughout the south central United States.
"We were looking for an incentive software package that would be highly flexible, easily configurable and capable of providing management with clear and timely feedback on goal achievement," said Judy Hunter, vice president of finance, Acme Brick Company. "Motiva will enable our non-technical people to handle plan administration, report creation and performance analysis."
Acme Brick was looking for an incentive management solution that would seamlessly integrate the company's commission and incentive pay calculations with its implementation of sales and financial accounting software from J.D. Edwards and payroll software from SAP. With its Java-based enterprise software platform and open integration framework, Motiva EIM enables customers to easily integrate with multiple and disparate third-party systems for both source and destination data.
"As a Berkshire Hathaway company, Acme Brick has a great reputation as a well-run company with a strong brand identity and superior products," said Jeff Carr, president and CEO of Motiva. "We look forward to helping Acme Brick continue to meet the highest standards for operational excellence by enabling management and employees to easily track and manage their incentive programs."
The Motiva Enterprise Incentive Management Suite is the first enterprise-ready EIM solution with a Java-based portal and multidimensional analysis capabilities designed for dynamic, complex programs and global, multi-organizational rollouts.
