CHARLOTTE, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 10, 2003
MetaLogix has created a key partnering relationship with internationally known Decision Support Panel (DSP) to resell DSP's Portal Edition primarily to North and South Carolina customers.
The collaboration of the two Microsoft Certified Partners creates a powerful offering that enables those utilizing Microsoft's SharePoint Portal's framework to leverage business intelligence components.
MetaLogix is regarded as a leader in deploying Microsoft's SharePoint Portal to North Carolina and South Carolina. The SharePoint Portal allows organizations to centrally organize, search, and provide collaboration on all documents and data that is scattered throughout their enterprise. MetaLogix extends the basic portal functionality by ensuring that clients have a solid SharePoint Portal framework in place, either at the departmental or enterprise level, that integrates appropriately with their disparate data and provides continued Return on their Microsoft Investments. DSP's Business Intelligence Parts leverage the capabilities of and information stored within Microsoft's Database servers and enhances the options that MetaLogix can build and integrate into the SharePoint framework. DSP's contributions improve data distribution, simplify data consumption and speed further analysis within the Portal framework.
Many organizations are challenged by the integration of a myriad of applications, documents and data sources that proliferate the enterprise. The SharePoint Portal, with its document management, powerful search, and digital dashboard capabilities, enhances business intelligence beyond advanced query and analysis to include powerful delivery of documents and data accessed through enterprise specific dashboards. Together, SharePoint and BI Parts empower employees, workgroups and executives to find, access, share, manage, and exchange valuable enterprise data which will enable smarter, faster decision making and dramatically enhance business productivity.
DSP Portal Edition is a product family of analysis tools that enables organizations to analyze information in a data warehouse. The data warehouse can be designed and implemented with Microsoft SQL Server 7 OLAP Services or with Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Analysis Services.
"MetaLogix's SharePoint experience and strong reputation with Microsoft make them a valuable partner for us. Teaming DSP's expertise with that of MetaLogix fortifies and completes our products' value to the market and that's what I call bringing BI to the Portal World," said Peder Ekstrand, CEO of Decision Support Panel.
"The DSP partnership is closely aligned with MetaLogix's vision of delivering business productivity solutions to enterprise level organizations in the South Region. Our partnership with DSP is evidence that we consistently strive to add value to our solutions packages.
