IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 11, 2003

Greenlight Financial Services, one of the fastest growing direct-to-consumer mortgage lenders in the industry, today announced their sponsorship of the PACE network, a school-to-home communications system utilized by numerous schools in California and throughout the United States.

Through Greenlight's sponsorship, 22 schools in Orange County will begin using the PACE solution in the first quarter of 2003, including schools in Irvine, Mission Viejo, San Clemente, Dana Point and Rancho Santa Margarita. PACE's innovative system allows school administrators to utilize an Internet-based communications technology to create and instantly broadcast personalized telephone messages in any language to thousands of parents and faculty, informing them about school events, student attendance, and urgent situations.

Focused on the promotion of student achievement and safety, this effort is the latest example of Greenlight's dedication to community partnership and corporate citizenship. Greenlight is also the corporate sponsor for ABC-7 TV's "Cool Kids" program, which awards outstanding students from Southern California schools.

"The PACE network is a terrific way to connect schools with parents and we are proud to be a sponsor," said Joann Pham, President and CEO, Greenlight Financial Services. "As an Orange County-based business, Greenlight feels a responsibility to this community and we are putting our resources behind this effort. As Greenlight increases its national presence, we look forward to bringing PACE's communication network to even more parents and schools."

"Greenlight connects with thousands of consumers every day, and with its sponsorship of PACE, it is now providing a new and better way for schools to connect to communities," said John Gamba, Co-Founder & CEO, PACE. "Greenlight proudly touts the concept of `faster', even down to the company phone number, and there is no faster way for schools to communicate with parents and community members than by using PACE."

Greenlight is sponsoring the following 22 schools in the Orange County area: Aliso Niguel High, Capistrano Valley High , College Park Elementary, Cordillera Elementary, Culverdale Elementary, Dana Hills High, Lakeside Middle, Las Flores Middle, Los Alisos Intermediate, Melinda Heights Elementary, Montevideo Elementary, Northwood Elementary, O'Neill, Portola Hills Elementary, Rancho Santa Margarita Int., San Clemente High, Shorecliffs Middle, Sierra Vista Middle, Tesoro High, Oak Grove, South Lake Middle, and Venado Middle.

As a leader in the next generation of mortgage lending, Greenlight originates first and second mortgages, as well as equity lines of credit. Greenlight's offering is based on three principles: competitive rates, exceptional customer service and efficient loan processing. These are delivered along with the guarantee that if a client is ever dissatisfied with any aspect of the loan process or service -- or able to find a more competitive rate elsewhere -- they are free to cancel without any cost or obligation. With this successful formula, Greenlight provided over two billion dollars in loans for its customers in 2002.
