China Unicom and DoOnGo Team up to Provide the First Over-the-Air — OTA — Device Software Management Capabilities to Handset Manufacturers that Sell in China

China Unicom and DoOnGo Sign Preliminary Software License
Agreement for DeltaUpgrade(TM) to Provide Over-the-Air
Handset-Embedded Software Update Services to Unicom's Subscribers
DoOnGo Technologies, Inc., the leading provider in mobile device software management and over-the-air (OTA) application provisioning, announced today that China United Telecommunications Corporation ("China Unicom"), the market leader in telecommunications services signed a strategic license agreement with DoOnGo on 11 February 2003 in Beijing. DoOnGo will license DeltaUpgrade(TM), the industry-leading over-the-air software management and upgrade system to China Unicom to provide over-the-air handset-embedded software update services to China Unicom's subscribers. Furthermore, both parties will join forces and cooperate on a long-term basis to provide DeltaUpgrade to China Unicom handset suppliers.
According to the agreement, the two companies will work together in the following aspects. Firstly, both parties will jointly promote the implementation of OTA application provisioning for embedded software update services by developing a strategic integration plan for China Unicom suppliers to adopt DeltaUpgrade as their preferred software solution platform. Secondly, both parties will jointly host technical seminars and trainings to assist handset suppliers in preparing their handsets for deployment on China Unicom's network.
