Business Wire, Feb 19, 2003

ICQ also maintains an active Web site with a main focus on community activities around ICQ, providing ICQ users worldwide with the ability to send messages using the ICQ messaging center. ICQ users worldwide can also communicate with many tens of millions of subscribers (not necessarily ICQ users) of over 100 wireless networks worldwide by sending messages using the ICQ(R) 2 Way SMS product.

About ICQ

ICQ is wholly owned by America Online, Inc. ICQ was created in 1996 by the Israel-based company, Mirabilis, and acquired by AOL in 1998. ICQ is a world leading communications community with over 150 million registered users worldwide. On days when connected to ICQ, users spend an average of over 4.5 hours on the service. ICQ offers the most robust instant messaging and enhanced communications features in the market today. The product is available for free at www.ICQ.com.

ADDENDUM: ICQ WIRELESS OFFERINGS

The ICQ wireless offerings complement each other by bringing the ICQ experience directly to the cellular phone while catering to different phone technologies, different user preferences, and different user needs:

-- With ICQ for i-mode(TM), subscribers can send and receive

instant messages using their i-mode(TM) enabled phones with

any ICQ user. ICQ for i-mode(TM) allows subscribers to access

their list of ICQ friends on the phone, see who is online and

available to chat at any given moment. ICQ for i-mode(TM) also

allows users to search for new or old friends by using their

names, email addresses or specific keywords. ICQ users

worldwide also have the ability to send messages using the ICQ

messaging center on the ICQ web site, or the ICQ application

on desktops, cellular phones or PDAs directly to i-mode(TM)

subscribers.

-- With ICQ(R) 2 Way SMS, ICQ users worldwide have the ability to

send messages using ICQ on desktops, cellular phones or PDAs

directly to wireless subscribers of over 100 networks

globally. ICQ users worldwide can also send SMS text messages

using the ICQ messaging center on the ICQ web site. Although

the cellular phones receiving these messages must be

SMS-enabled, the recipients do not need to be ICQ users.

-- The ICQ(R) for WAP and ICQ for SMS products allow subscribers

to access their list of ICQ friends on the phone, see who is

online and available to chat at any given moment, search for

new or old friends and send and receive messages. These

products can be used with any SMS and WAP enabled phones

respectively. With ICQ for WAP, new users can also register

for ICQ using their phone.

-- The ICQ(R) for the J2ME(TM) Platform product makes use of the

enhanced Java phone capabilities to bring the ICQ experience

on the phone to a new level. With ICQ for J2ME(TM), it is even

possible to remain logged in to ICQ while performing other

functions on the phone.

-- The ICQ(R) for the Symbian OS product enables the user to

communicate with other ICQ users anywhere in the world from a

Symbian smartphone--whether the friends are connected using a

desktop computer, a mobile phone or any other mobile device.
