Intelligence and Assurance Services
TruSecure(R) Corporation, the leading security intelligence and services provider, today named several key industry veterans to its executive sales team: Bryan T. Gernert, Ed Choi, Carl Nessen, David Crea and Brett Davis. These changes reflect the positive growth the company has experienced despite challenging market conditions and puts into place the leadership team necessary to expand TruSecure's dominant role as the largest security intelligence and services provider in the world.
Bryan T. Gernert joins TruSecure as senior vice president of sales in charge of the company's North American sales functions. He has more than 12 years of software and security technology sales and management experience, comes to TruSecure from Digex Corporation, where he was senior vice president of sales and services and one of the founding members of its application hosting business, which he helped grow to more over $200 million in revenue during his tenure. During his time at Digex, Gernert built the sales organization to more than 450 professionals worldwide. In addition, Gernert was a senior consultant at BT Consulting where he provided strategic consultation on sales, marketing and customer service to large corporations and technology companies.
Ed Choi joins TruSecure as vice president of sales operations. Choi brings more than ten years experience in the IT industry and previously had profit and loss responsibility for the managed DNS and IP services group for VeriSign. Prior to that, Choi served as the vice president of professional services and business development of SingleShop Technologies -- an e-Commerce B2B service provider and was CEO and founder of Quadrant One, LLC, a consulting and Web hosting firm.
As part of the management team changes at TruSecure, Carl Nessen has been named vice president of sales in the northeast US and eastern Canada; Brett Davis has been named vice president of sales in the southeast and central US, and David Crea has been named vice president of sales in the western US and western Canada.
"TruSecure has experienced tremendous growth and the company continues to lead the market by attracting talented executives who understand the important role that security intelligence and services plays in today's business climate. These additions to the existing management team ensure that we will further expand TruSecure's position as the world's largest security intelligence and services provider," said John Becker, president and CEO of TruSecure. "Each member of the new management team has years of experience in his respective field and understands how to take an established dominant company to an even higher level of success. I have the utmost confidence that this new management team will build on our success heading into 2003 and beyond."
