OnWeb Provides Systems Integrators with Solutions for
Diverse Legacy Integration Challenges
NetManage, Inc. (Nasdaq:NETME), experts in host access and integration solutions, and DapaSoft, a Canadian-based software development and consulting firm, today announced a partnership in which the two companies will work together to fulfill the growing demand for NetManage's OnWeb(R). OnWeb is a server-based software solution that allows companies to quickly Web-enable host applications and business processes, without the high cost of rewriting or changing back-end legacy systems. In today's economy, many IT departments cannot invest in large scale projects, but are still challenged to improve day-to-day business processes, cut costs and remain competitive. OnWeb, coupled with the development expertise of partners like DapaSoft, can provide customers with a complete solution to meet their unique legacy integration needs.
"Many of our customers are looking for targeted technology implementations that benefit a department or business unit, while minimizing change to the organization as a whole. One of the most effective ways they can improve business processes is by making them accessible over the Web," said Linda Gladden, vice president of Indirect Sales and Business Development at NetManage. "Together with DapaSoft, we can offer our customers quick and affordable solutions to extend functionality of their mainframe systems."
DapaSoft and NetManage will focus on delivering real and rapid results to organizations, making the most of their IT budgets. DapaSoft's team of experts delivers targeted solutions to quickly respond to business opportunities. Employing an in-depth System Development Life Cycle, DapaSoft works hand-in-hand with companies from the initial consultation to the final delivery and testing. DapaSoft provides systems integration and software services, ranging from development, design, Internet application development, wireless applications and networking. DapaSoft is a specialist in Microsoft technologies and a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner for E-commerce solutions. DapaSoft augments NetManage's network of partners with experience in industry-leading technologies, such as Visual Studio .NET.
"Many companies are faced with the dilemma that their critical business data is still 'handcuffed' in old enterprise systems. We were attracted to NetManage because the Company's sole focus is helping customers to repurpose existing business logic to support new initiatives, and combine them in new ways to create fully integrated Web services," said Wayne Thomas, Vice President of Consulting Services at DapaSoft. "Unlike competitive offerings, OnWeb provides a rich and intuitive user interface with zero programmatic changes on the back-end. As a result, we can create a sophisticated new application without the extra cost of making changes to mainframe screens. This maintains a consistent end-user experience."
