MaXXan(R) Systems, Inc. (http://www.MaXXan.com/), a leading developer of next-generation storage networking infrastructure, today announced a global service and support agreement with Unisys. Under this agreement, Unisys will provide a range of installation and support services for MaXXan's storage networking solutions, which include the SG100(TM) NAS gateway and the MXV320(TM) intelligent storage switch and computing platform.

Effective immediately, the agreement initially covers North America and, as MaXXan expands its distribution channels to other parts of the world, Unisys will extend coverage through its global network of local providers.

MaXXan launched its first storage networking products at the beginning of this year. The MaXXan SG100(TM), an open NAS gateway powered by VERITAS, is designed to facilitate the convergence of NAS and SAN storage environments. The MaXXan MXV320(TM) is an intelligent switching platform for storage networks that makes possible the delivery of high-level storage functions as services of the network.
