FORT WASHINGTON, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 27, 2003
Feith Systems & Software, Inc., a member of the Oracle(R) PartnerNetwork, today announced an initiative to integrate Feith Document Database RMA, a DoD 5015.2 certified Records Management solution, with Oracle Collaboration Suite. This will allow companies to manage the complete lifecycle of enterprise records. Program roll out is scheduled to initiate in March 2003.
Feith RMA adds a certified records management process to the Oracle Collaboration Suite. Organizations need to properly manage the acquisition, indexing, integration, approval, distribution, and disposal of many types of records.
Nucleus Research recently examined the benefits associated with document management and found that companies reduced printing costs by a median of 75%, reduced associated postage, overnight and fax costs by 55% and reduced storage space by 40%. Benchmark participants that deployed search functionality as part of document management say that 86% had a positive effect on productivity.
Feith Systems & Software President, Don Feith says, "Oracle has the architecture in Collaboration Suite to control unstructured data at the Enterprise level. Our relationship with Oracle allows us to bring Feith's certified Records Management methodology to government and corporate organizations. Many of these organizations have the Oracle skills to manage the scalability, reliability and security required."
"Enterprise collaboration is a key business requirement," said Steve Levine, vice president, product marketing, Oracle Collaboration Suite. "We are delighted to be working with Feith on this initiative. The combination of Feith's 5015.2 Records Management and Oracle Collaboration Suite is expected to allow companies to maximize the use of paper and electronic records while reducing cost, improving business continuity and complying with regulatory processes."
