NMS Communications, trusted communications products and services supplier to every telecom operator and communications equipment provider on the Global Fortune 50 list, is kicking off a 2003 web seminar series co-hosted with communications industry leaders for solution developers with the first of three web seminars under the theme of "Voice Activated Applications for Today's ROI." The first web seminar will be held on Wednesday, February 5 at 2 pm EST/11 am PST. Entitled "How to Build Voice Applications Reliably, Cost Effectively, Accurately - and FAST!" this web seminar will be co-hosted by Nuance, an NMS technology partner. The web seminar will be repeated on Thursday, February 6 for European developers. Participants may register at http://www.e-conference.com/nms1/nmswebinar.

NMS' high-density platform, Nuance's speech engine, and the companies' unified, easy-to-use development environment give solution developers all they need for fast deployment of highly scalable applications that integrate call control, multimedia, Automatic Speech Recognition/Text-to-Speech technology, and switching functions."We regularly survey solution developers, and know from their responses that they benefit from direct communications like the web seminar that help them take advantage of the latest advancements from NMS and its technology partners," said Gerrold Walker, vice president and general manager of NMS' Platform Solutions business. "Through this web seminar series, voice application developers, technical managers, and program managers will learn more about today's voice technology from NMS and industry leaders, trends in the industry and new technologies, and how to get the most out of the available technologies."
The two additional web seminars in the Voice-Activated series will be presented in March and April, co-hosted by Edify and Voice Mobility. NMS intends to hold a solution developers web seminar on a monthly basis throughout 2003.
