Polymer Receives De-Listing Notification From NASDAQ; Polymer Plans to Appeal

BROOKLYN, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 13, 2003
Polymer Research Corp. of America (NASDAQ - PROA) today reported that it had received a letter from the NASDAQ staff that it was not in compliance with NASDAQ Market Place Rules which require the Company to have stockholders equity of $2,500,000, a market capitalization of at least $35,000,000 or net income of at least $500,000 in the last fiscal year or two of the last three years.
The Company has requested a hearing to appeal the de-listing notification, which has been set for February 13, 2003. If it is not successful at such hearing, its shares will be de-listed from NASDAQ.
Polymer Research Corp. of America is engaged primarily in research in the area of chemical grafting on a contract basis for a wide range of manufacturing and other companies and in the manufacture and sale of products arising from research activities and of textile printing inks.
