STORServer(TM), Inc. -- the storage protection leader in Backup Appliances -- is now shipping the first hot backup software for Oracle on TRU64 UNIX. STORServer Data Protection (SDP) for Oracle on TRU64 UNIX is the only software that integrates with IBM Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM), allowing Oracle to remain running during data protection functions.

SDP for Oracle on TRU64 UNIX is the first hot backup product created to integrate with both TSM and the backup-certified Recovery Manager (RMAN) provided by Oracle, says STORServer President John Pearring.
