AsiaInfo Wins CRM Software Solution Contract From China Mobile, Shandong

AsiaInfo Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq:ASIA), a leading provider of telecom software solutions in China, today announced that it has signed a contract to provide Shandong Mobile, a provincial subsidiary of China Mobile with its analytical Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software solution.
AsiaInfo's analytical CRM solution is a decision support system customized to analyze, report on and predict customer behavior and spending patterns. It will enable Shandong Mobile's executives, marketing, sales and customer support personnel to better understand their customer needs, and thus increase customer satisfaction, retention, and average revenue per user (ARPU).
With approximately 8 million mobile subscribers, Shandong Mobile ranks fourth in terms revenue, and first in terms of service among China Mobile subsidiaries. Shandong Mobile's investment focus has been on advanced software solutions, to obtain and capitalize on business intelligence, and to further improve services. AsiaInfo also provided CRM solutions to Yunnan Mobile, another large subsidiary of China Mobile in August 2002. The proven quality of AsiaInfo's software solutions is an important factor in this contract win.
