Certification Consortium to Recognize Organizations' Commitment to

Continuing Security Education

Symantec, the world leader in Internet security technology, today announced that attendees of all Symantec Education Services Webcasts and Seminar Series will be eligible to earn Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits.

The CPE credits will be awarded to security professionals who are already certified by the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium (ISC)2. This organization is a global, not-for-profit organization dedicated to maintaining a common body of knowledge for information security, certifying industry professionals and practitioners in an international information security standard, administering training and certifications examinations, and ensuring credentials are maintained through continuing education. (ISC)2 requires its members to earn 120 CPE credits every three years in order to maintain certification.
