WHAT: Good Guys (Nasdaq:GGUY), the largest specialty retailer of
higher-end consumer entertainment electronics in the
nation, today unveiled its customized show car at the 2003
Greater Los Angeles Auto Show.
Developed in partnership with JL Audio, Kenwood, Monster
Cable and Sirius Satellite Radio, Good Guys' Acura RSX
Type S show car combines the latest in mobile technology
with a futuristic installation that shows off the talents
of Good Guys' highly trained installation technicians.
Featured products include the Kenwood Excelon In-Dash DVD
Monitor, Kenwood Excelon Music Keg, JL Audio speakers,
amps and subwoofers and a 10" monitor in the rear hatch
complete with a Sony PlayStation(R) 2. The car features a
custom body kit and custom tires and wheels. All
installation work was completed by Good Guys' mobile
installation team using Monster Cable.
Visitors to Good Guys' exhibit will also be able to
experience the Sirius Satellite Radio NASCAR demo vehicle
and listening station and Kenwood's state-of-the-art show
car. In addition, a Lincoln Navigator with a four-monitor
Dolby(R) 5.1 Surround Sound System featuring an in-dash
monitor and DVD player, speakers, amps and subwoofer from
Eclipse, SAVV rear seat headrest monitors and a 10"
overhead monitor from Audiovox -- all installed by Good
Guys -- will be on display.
