HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 7, 2003
Sharp's slim 15-inch LCD monitor is ideal for first time LCD monitor
users, or businesses looking for a value-oriented solution for
multi-monitor applications.
Sharp Systems of America, a division of Sharp Electronics Corporation, today announced the newest addition to its LCD monitor line-up: the LL-T15G3.
A compact 15" XGA LCD monitor (1,024 x 768) with 16mm narrow frame and high contrast ratio (350:1), the LL-15G3 is an ideal solution for first-time LCD monitor customers and businesses looking to deploy LCD monitors across the enterprise.
"The LL-T15G3 presents a terrific opportunity for CRT users who are ready to reclaim their desk space," commented Greg Nakagawa, senior vice president and general manager of Sharp Systems of America. "The features of this LCD monitor combined with its value-oriented price makes the LL-T15G3 the right monitor at the right time for businesses and users looking to make the switch."
LL-T15G3
Suitable for multi-monitor applications, the 15-inch, Sharp LL-T15G3 LCD monitor brings high performance at a value-oriented price. With its 260-nit brightness, 350:1 contrast ratio and thin bezel, the LL-T15G3 offers features and technology not previously available in a 15-inch LCD monitor at this price point.
Using a bright, vivid 15-inch TFT liquid crystal panel with a wide viewing angle, the LL-T15G3 provides bright, clear pictures in which even small letters are clearly legible. The monitor's one-touch automatic screen adjustment feature easily renders all synchronization and geometry adjustments instantly matched for your computer's specific video signal. In addition, the auto gain control function automatically matches the black level and contrast, optimizing the monitor for best viewing.
The monitor also features a color management function compatible with the "sRGB" international standard for color reproduction. By performing color conversions that adjusts to liquid crystal characteristics, the LL-T15G3 displays pictures with natural tones, and color matching is achieved with sRGB compatible peripheral equipment. The monitor is equipped with a "Vivid" mode for dynamic primary colors, and "Standard" mode for displaying colors beyond the sRGB standard.
The LL-T15G3 also comes equipped with a digital scaling function, which expands images displayed at less than XGA resolution to full-screen and achieves an easy-to-view picture with variable smoothing. The LL-T15G3 also has a long-life backlight with a service life of approximately 5 years if left on 24 hours a day, 365 days a year (50,000 hours).
Available in black or frosty gray, and compatible with VESA-standard free mount for wall or arm mounting, the Sharp LL-T15G3 LCD monitor is available for an estimated street price of $299. The monitor is available through Sharp Systems of America's network of resellers or direct from Sharp at www.sharpplace.com.
