AvantGo, Inc. (Nasdaq:AVGO), a leading provider of mobile enterprise software, today announced the delivery of AvantGo Mobile Sales(TM) for salesforce.com, the company's first mobile enterprise application based on the Microsoft .NET Framework. The product, which enables salesforce.com subscribers to access key customer information, including Accounts, Contacts, Opportunities and Tasks on their Windows Powered Pocket PC devices, is now available via the popular My AvantGo(R) Service. With over seven million registered users, My AvantGo is the most widely accessed mobile service for smart devices in the world. The service is used by mobile professionals and individuals to access content and applications from their handheld devices--anytime, anywhere. The AvantGo Mobile Sales for salesforce.com service integrates to salesforce.com through an XML Web service application powered by the Microsoft .NET Framework.
With the easy-to-use mobile application, salesforce.com customers can now access their important sales data when and where they need it most--on the road, at a customer site or anywhere else they take their Pocket PC devices. Specifically, with AvantGo Mobile Sales users can access key salesforce.com Tasks, Accounts, Contacts and Opportunities on their devices, enabling them to view, update and manage new records right from the device, as well as search and find existing records quickly and easily. Customer information is synchronized locally to Pocket PC, which ensures optimum performance and reliability. Wireless connectivity is not required.

Availability
Today, salesforce.com users with Pocket PC devices can subscribe to a free 30-day trial of AvantGo Mobile Sales for salesforce.com online at www.avantgo.com/salesforce. A subscription to the channel is available for $299 per year from AvantGo. For a limited time, customers can receive the new service for an introductory subscription price of $249 per year. Support for Palm OS handheld devices will be available by the end of the month.
