California Hospitals Evaluated by Patients in the Largest Hospital-Patient Survey Ever Released in the United States

The California hospital-patient experience survey -- a voluntary effort to educate consumers and improve hospital care by measuring what patients think -- publicly released its second round of results on June 25th. Known as PEP-C II (Patients' Evaluation of Performance in California), the survey is unprecedented, in both size and scope. With 181 hospitals participating and 35,000 patients surveyed, it has become the largest hospital-patient survey ever released.

Cargill Foodservice has given a $75,000 Cargill-Diversity Scholarship grant to The Culinary Institute of America (CIA), a not-for-profit college offering bachelor's and associate degrees in baking, pastry and culinary arts.
