NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 28, 2003

Confess -- you're more likely to be caught reading US Weekly than National Geographic. You pick "Page Six" over the pages of the New York Times. Your TV is tuned to E!, not The History Channel. Face it -- you know way more about Ben and Jen's careers than foreign policy and the 2004 election. And on Aug. 9, 2003, the hit game show "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" will help you turn a mind full of magazine articles, weekend box office winners and "who's who in music" news into big winnings!

The Celebrity Scoop Edition of "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" is scheduled to air during the show's second season this fall. The Celebrity Scoop Edition will turn the "Millionaire" hot seat into the center of the A-List universe, filled with questions about your favorite stars, their lives and love lives, their hits and near misses.

The "Millionaire" producers are looking for the most savvy pop culture vultures ... the top amateur star watchers ... experts in all things celebrity, from movies, music and TV to the latest marriages ... to be contestants on this special week of shows. On Aug. 9, they'll hold auditions in Manhattan, where potential players will take a special Celebrity Scoop Edition version of the "Millionaire" contestant test.

For further information and to sign up for an audition, log on to www.millionairetv.com. The second season of "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" begins Sept. 15, 2003. The show is produced by Valleycrest Productions Ltd. Meredith Vieira is host. Michael Davies, Paul Smith and Leigh Hampton are executive producers, and Vincent Rubino is co-executive producer.
