PHOENIX--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 23, 2003

Sixty-year-old Credit Union Increases Accuracy of Reporting

Process, Combats Fraud With LCS' Investigation Case Management System

Loss Control Solutions (LCS), a provider of the financial industry's most widely used investigation case management system, announced that Arizona Central Credit Union has signed an agreement to install LCS' flagship product, Investigation Case Management System(TM) (ICMS). Arizona Central Credit Union, which currently ranks among one of the largest credit unions in the state, serves approximately 74,000 members and operates nine full-service branches throughout Arizona.

"Part of our mission statement at Arizona Central Credit Union involves maintaining the most effective security controls to ensure our members' protection," said Jerry Thornburg, chairman of Arizona Central Credit Union. "We believe in taking whatever measures necessary to report and reduce fraudulent activity. Part of those measures includes LCS' Investigation Case Management System."

In October 2001, the USA Patriot Act required all financial institutions to comply with government regulations aimed at protecting citizens and companies from terrorist and fraudulent activities. LCS' ICMS helps credit unions, banks and other financial institutions consolidate and report fraudulent activity.

"The USA PATRIOT Act will undoubtedly have a dramatic effect on the way financial institutions combat fraud," said Bryan Viau, president of Loss Control Solutions. "Our Investigation Case Management System provides financial institutions of all types with an additional tool for their fraud management toolbox that is designed to accurately report incidents of fraud, cross reference those incidents with the expectation of reducing fraudulent activity."

In addition to the case management system, Arizona Central Credit Union was also impressed with LCS' level of customer service. "Arizona Central Credit Union only works with vendors that are devoted to their customers," added Thornburg. "We have experienced, firsthand, both thorough and exceptional service as well as a commitment to excellence from Loss Control Solutions."
