CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 9, 2003
TD Waterhouse today announced it has integrated Advent Software's Axys, an industry-leading portfolio management, accounting and reporting solution, with Veo, TD Waterhouse's Internet-based platform for advisors.
The integration will allow independent, fee-only investment advisors to enhance client service and increase productivity while reducing technology expenses.
Using Advent's Axys, advisors have access to sophisticated accounting and performance measurement options, customizable reporting and graphics and the ability to track, analyze and manage a wide array of investments. The Axys solutions available through TD Waterhouse give advisors the flexibility to choose from several options ranging from fully-outsourced data reconciliation and reporting to the traditional advisor-hosted, standalone version of Axys.
With the integrated Veo-based solution, advisors receive the Axys functionality they need to run performance reports at any time and from any location. The integrated solution simplifies advisors' infrastructure as the software is accessible from the Veo platform, eliminating the burden of software implementation, system maintenance and data reconciliation. And advisors receive technology support directly from TD Waterhouse Institutional Services.
Advisors utilizing the TD Waterhouse platform will qualify for special pricing on all Advent solutions available from TD Waterhouse Institutional Services.
"Our advisors want to focus on client service and business development. The Veo-based Axys solution brings speed and accuracy to portfolio management functions, saving advisors time that can be devoted to enhancing service and building their practices. By integrating this leading portfolio management system into Veo, we're helping advisors make the best use of their time," explained J. Thomas Bradley, Jr., President, TD Waterhouse Institutional Services. "In addition to helping advisors improve their productivity, we're also helping them reduce costs. Regardless of the software an advisor is currently using, we're confident that they can reduce their expenses by working with us."
In addition, TD Waterhouse Institutional Services is exploring ways of further integrating Advent solutions into the Veo platform, and the firm continues to support a variety of portfolio management systems commonly used by independent financial advisors.
