AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 10, 2003
Chiron Corporation, a global pharmaceutical company with a strategic focus on cancer and infectious diseases, has standardized on HireEnterprise, Hire.com's award-winning enterprise talent management suite, the company announced today. Citing the software's strong integration capabilities, Chiron is using the Recruiting Center module of HireEnterprise to streamline staffing processes in conjunction with other critical systems, such as the company's SAP ERP environment.
"In a competitive environment such as biotechnology, with multiple companies vying for the same specialized talent, we view Hire.com as a strategic partner who ensures we are attracting, hiring and retaining the top talent in our industry," said Anthony Damaschino, director of staffing at Chiron. "Part of successful staffing is running a tight ship, being efficient in process -- Hire.com has the cutting-edge technology to get our all of our systems working together, as well as a top-rate customer service team to put that technology into action."
At the onset of the integration project, the implementation team of Chiron and Hire.com specialists established a goal of utilizing HireEnterprise's integration capabilities to reliably transport all requisition and candidate data into Chiron's SAP HR module within a set timeframe. Exceeding expectations, the integration was completed early, and Hire.com's customer service team was able to successfully complete the process without an onsite visit -- lowering extra implementation costs.
Prior to integrating HireEnterprise with SAP, Chiron human resources staff utilized traditional ways of sending information to recruiters and managers -- manually carrying printouts to them. With the new system in place, candidate information is sent directly to the ERP system and the hiring managers' desktop from Chiron's Hire.com-powered recruiting Web site.
"Our work with Chiron is a perfect example of how Hire.com synchronizes its solution with a company's unique needs and goals," said Kevin Bethke, CEO of Hire.com. "Hire.com allows Chiron to recruit and hire the most qualified candidates available, reduce the cost per hire, and concentrate on its core business of developing breakthroughs to treat and prevent cancer and infectious disease."
