Leader in Standards Support Expands Involvement with BPMI.org To
Further Influence and Guide the Design and
Management of Business Processes
SeeBeyond (Nasdaq:SBYN), the leading global provider of enterprise integration and composite application assembly solutions, today announced its addition to the Board of Directors for the Business Process Management Initiative (BPMI.org). As an active member of the consortium since January 2001, this election underscores SeeBeyond's ongoing support for the development of industry standards aimed at improving how Business Process Management (BPM) can be deployed and leveraged to drive automation and optimization across the extended enterprise.
As a longstanding member of BPMI.org, SeeBeyond Director of Standards, Stephen White, will represent SeeBeyond on the organization's recently expanded Board of Directors. Serving as the chair of BPMI.org's Notation Working Group since its formation, White has been the primary editor of the BPMN specification playing an instrumental role in its rapid development.
"Leveraging our strength in process-oriented enterprise integration while helping to create and drive compelling standards for business process management, SeeBeyond remains closely involved in the emergence of leading standards," said White. "With more than a decade of experience connecting enterprise systems, SeeBeyond will continue to help accelerate our customers' ability to optimize their business processes for competitive advantage."
The election process was completed at the organization's Annual General Meeting in Costa Mesa, California. Board members will play a pivotal role in both business and technical leadership as the organization furthers its efforts in providing open, royalty-free standards for the management of business processes.
