WHAT:    9th Annual NAMIC Vision Awards

         Produced annually for nearly a decade by NAMIC Southern
         California, Inc., the Vision Awards honors cable television
         entities that have demonstrated a commitment to producing
         quality, multiethnic and cross-cultural programming content.
         NAMIC, Inc. (The National Association of Minorities in
         Communications), a nonprofit professional organization
         dedicated to promoting diversity in the telecommunications
         industry, will bestow the organization's highest honors, the
         "North Star" and "Quasar Awards" to Lifetime Television and
         four of cable TV's top female executives, representing BET,
         CNBC, VH1 and National Geographic Channel USA.
         "Resurrection Blvd.," Showtime's groundbreaking drama,
         featuring a Latino cast, will be honored with the inaugural
         "Legacy Award."  Additional awards will be presented in 9
         categories, including comedy, drama, documentary, music and
         variety, news/informational, children's programming, and
         foreign language.  The 9th Annual Vision Awards will be
         taped for a pre-recorded broadcast on the Major Broadcasting
         Cable Channel (MBC), carried in more than 25 million
         households nationwide.

WHO:     Sharing the stage with 2003 NAMIC Vision Awards host Cynthia
