RALEIGH, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 19, 2003
Misys Healthcare Systems - a market leader in healthcare IT - today announced that Foundation Medical Partners has selected Misys Vision/Optimum(TM) as its new enterprise-wide practice management solution.
The deal brings Misys Vision/Optimum's comprehensive suite of patient management and administrative applications to 250 users at the New Hampshire-based multi-specialty group practice.
"We needed a flexible practice management system that had robust functionality today, and also demonstrated a strong roadmap for the future of the product," said Susan Ryan, director of Information Technology for Foundation Medical Partners. "We felt the Misys Vision/Optimum product had that."
Ryan said Foundation Medical Partners' 12-member product selection committee - which included practice managers, business office staff, and IT and administrative personnel - reviewed seven practice management systems in detail before selecting Misys Vision/Optimum.
Along with these product evaluations, the five-month search included conversations with and site visits to other Misys clients. Ryan said members of the selection committee also visited Misys Healthcare Systems' Raleigh, N.C. headquarters - they already knew about Misys' reputation for quality IT products, but wanted to also evaluate the company's corporate culture and management team before making its decision.
"Misys continues to demonstrate a strong sense of professionalism," Ryan said. "(The company) provides us with excellent tools and experienced personnel to keep our project on track and productive."
