Fairchild Semiconductor Executives to Speak at Key Financial Conferences

-- Kirk Pond, president, CEO and chairman of the Board, will speak at the J.P. Morgan Technology and Telecom Conference to be held May 5 - 8, 2003, at the Westin Saint Francis Hotel in San Francisco, CA;

-- Joseph Martin, executive vice president and CFO, will speak at the Deutsche Bank 2003 Global Technology Conference for Semiconductors & Semiconductor Capital Equipment to be held May 13 - 14, 2003, at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas, NV.
