BEVERLY HILLS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 21, 2003

"The Process," a documentary feature film based on the action oriented experimental therapy known as psychodrama, will have a seven day showcase world premiere at the Laemmle Music Hall Theater in Beverly Hills starting Friday, March 28. A Q&A with the cast and filmmakers will follow the Friday and Saturday 7:30 PM screenings and the Sunday 3:10 PM matinee.

Filmed in Los Angeles, "The Process" brings together nine people, each with a troubled past stemming from addiction, violence, neglect or some other trauma.

The sometimes harrowing session is moderated by Dr. Tian Dayton. With a Ph.D in clinical psychology and an M.A. in educational psychology, she is regarded as one of the foremost practitioners of dramatic experiential therapy working today.

"The Process" was directed by Richard A. Greenberg, a prolific director of film and television, who once had an addiction problem and spent time in rehab in Arizona.

It was there where he met the film's executive producer, Gary Seidler who was one of the most prominent publishers of consumer self-help books, including the international best-selling series "Chicken Soup for the Soul." He has been a long time champion of new forms of therapy in the mental health field. His company published more than 350 titles about the effects of addictive behavior on family members.
