REMINDER...for Monday (March 24)
China International Semiconductor and Integrated Circuit
Exhibition & Seminar
CUPERTINO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 23, 2003
Magma(R) Design Automation Inc. (Nasdaq:LAVA), a provider of chip design solutions, announced that the company will offer product demonstrations at the China International Semiconductor and Integrated Circuit Exhibition & Seminar on March 24-26 in Shanghai, China.
Magma will be exhibiting in Booths 23 & 24 and demonstrating the company's integrated approach to IC design, which includes its unique gain-based synthesis for front-end designers as well as Magma's physical design technology. Magma will show how timing, power and signal integrity are taken into account using Magma's correct-by-construction approach.
"China is emerging as a world center for IC design," said Lung Chu, Magma vice president for Asia-Pacific Operations. "Magma has invested additional resources to support the growth of IC designers' capabilities, and our participation in this show is another step toward introducing the most advanced IC implementation methodology to China's design community."
Magma, the first EDA company to merge both logical and physical design into a single, integrated system with one executable and a unified data model, offers a complete RTL-to-GDSII implementation solution that enables IC designers to achieve rapid design closure on complex designs -- while dramatically reducing overall time to market.

About Magma Design Automation
Magma software is used to design fast, multimillion-gate integrated circuits, providing "The Fastest Path from RTL to Silicon"(TM), to enable chip designers to reduce the time required to produce complex ICs.
Magma's products for prototyping, synthesis, and place & route provide a single executable for RTL-to-GDSII chip design. The company's Blast Fusion(R), Blast Fusion APX(TM), Blast Plan(TM), Blast Noise(R) and Blast RTL(TM) products utilize Magma's patented FixedTiming(R) methodology and single data model architecture to reduce the timing-closure iterations often required between the logic and physical processes in conventional IC design flows.
Magma maintains headquarters in Cupertino, Calif., as well as facilities in Los Angeles, Orange County and San Diego, Calif.; Boston, Mass.; Durham, N.C.; Laurys Station, Pa.; Austin and Dallas, Texas; Newcastle, Wash.; and in Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Israel, Japan, Korea, the Netherlands, Taiwan and the United Kingdom. The company's stock trades on Nasdaq under the ticker symbol LAVA. Visit Magma Design Automation on the Web at www.magma-da.com.
