Niku Corporation (Nasdaq:NIKU) today announced that Toyota Financial Services (TFS), with managed assets of over $40 billion, completed implementation of Niku 6 in its information technology department. This new system will provide 900 users with Web-based access to project portfolio and resource management data, collaboration, and application functionalities.
"With Niku 6, we're now operating in a Web environment," said David Paine, leader of the TFS program management office. "This system will allow us to get project progress and resource usage data when we need it and to get that data in a format that we can work with it to manage our IT initiatives more effectively."

"Toyota Financial Services challenged themselves -- and us -- with an ambitious Niku 6 implementation plan," said Jules Ehrlich, Niku's Vice President of Professional Services, "but they were willing to support it with the brainpower and resources to make it happen.
