What:         Multi-platinum singer and songwriter Jewel is performing
               live on April 26 at Art in the Square in Southlake,
               Texas.  Sponsored by Best Buy, Art in the Square is a
               three-day event showcasing the works of more than 100
               juried artists.

              Since making her recording debut eight years ago, Jewel
               has sold 25 million albums worldwide.  One of the most
               accomplished and admired artists performing today, she
               has received many musical honors are three GRAMMY
               nominations, an American Music Award, and an MTV Video
               Music Award.

              Jewel's much-anticipated fifth album, slated for release
               by Atlantic Records in June, finds her moving in new
               musical directions inspired by her interest in modern
               dance beats and electronic music.  The first single
               from the album, "Intuition," was written and produced
               by Jewel and Cuban-American producer Lester Mendez
               (Shakira, Santana, Enrique Iglesias).

              Tickets for the Jewel performance are limited and are
               available through Ticketmaster starting on March 29.
