BEDFORD, Ind.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 31, 2003

Quik Internet of South Central Indiana today announced that QuikSat, a high-speed satellite Internet access 'Powered by ISAT' solution, is available to Internet subscribers in the south central Indiana and Bedford area. This service responds to the demands for high-speed Internet access of customers in outlying areas. The QuikSat solution uses one-way satellite technology to allow users to surf the Internet and download files at speeds up to 400kbps - a significant increase over dial-up connections that max out at 56kbps.

"Rural dial-up users are begging for high-speed access. With QuikSat, we are able to provide these services to our customers," said Bart Nott, vice president, at Quik Internet of South Central Indiana.

This high-speed Internet service can be purchased for a limited time at $49.95 per month with an installation fee of $250 that includes a 24 to 28 inch satellite antenna and a satellite modem. The regular monthly service fee is $59.95 and the installation fee is $300.

A one-way satellite 'Powered by ISAT' system offered through Quik Internet of South Central Indiana leverages proven satellite technology and uses Quik Internet of South Central Indiana's current ISPs infrastructure to offer its subscribers local customer support and a reliable, high-quality system.

Benjamin Finzi, chief executive officer, ISAT adds, "The 'Powered by ISAT' Internet access product is popular because it focuses on the needs of rural market subscribers and enables partners like Quik Internet of South Central Indiana to add a new and needed service to their existing portfolio while leveraging their current distribution and customer support infrastructure."
