COLLEGE PARK, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 5, 2003

LogicTree Corporation (LogicTree), a leading provider of multi-modal voice and data access systems, and BTS Solutions A/S (BTS), Denmark, a global top-5 developer of Directory Assistance solutions, today have announced the founding of BTS Logic Corporation (BTS Logic), a jointly owned company with the mission to deploy automated directory assistance and enhanced service solutions to the US marketplace.

"BTS Logic offers a next generation automated directory assistance solution, VoxDA, that fully integrates the market proven BTS directory search engine and carrier network integration technology and LogicTree's VoxLinx multi-modal voice gateway. VoxDA is the most advanced end-to-end solution available on the market today," said Niels-Arne Baden, CEO, BTS, and Fred Korangy, CEO, LogicTree, in a joint statement.

The BTS Logic VoxDA system, which is available immediately for hosted and in-network deployment, offers callers a fast and convenient Directory Assistance service with call completion and seamless operator integration, employing both standard "store-and-forward" functionality as well as cutting edge Collaborative Multi-Modal operator workstation integration.

To ensure maximum data accuracy, BTS Logic is working with LSSi Corp., widely recognized as providing the highest quality, carrier-sourced listing data. LSSi is the first non-telco provider to exceed 99% service-order-level accuracy across the full nation-wide directory database of U.S. telephone listings.

BTS Logic is currently in trial with Mattoon, Illinois based Consolidated Operator Services, a member of the Consolidated Communications family of companies, with more than 100 years of telecommunications experience.

Rick Hall, director, Consolidated Operator Services, said initial testing looks very promising. "Based on our early testing of the product at Consolidated Operator Services, it appears to meet our high quality standards for a user-friendly service," he said. "We believe many of our customers will prefer this speech automation product".

In closing, Olav Underdal, Executive Vice President, BTS Logic, said "The BTS Logic hosted solution represents a tremendous opportunity for competitive carriers to achieve immediate bottom line improvements and gain market share. Carriers can realize significant operational savings from day one, and at the same time obtain the enabling infrastructure to gradually expand with enhanced services such as voice dialing, driving directions, multimedia messaging, as well as converged services integrating Web, wireline and wireless delivery channels."
