Vacation and business travelers flying between Denver International Airport (DIA) and Las Vegas will soon have a new low-fare option when Las Vegas-based Allegiant Air begins non-stop scheduled service between DIA and the fun and entertainment capital on July 3, 2003.
Allegiant is offering introductory fares of $99 each way on flights between Denver and Las Vegas, and customers who book online at www.allegiantair.com will receive an additional discount of $5 off each flight segment ($94 each way).
Allegiant is also offering complete air and hotel vacation packages to Las Vegas starting at $209 per person, roundtrip, through its Allegiant Vacations program.
Allegiant said the new Denver-Las Vegas service will initially operate on Thursday, Friday, Sunday and Monday each week, the peak demand days for flights in the market. The carrier will use a 162-seat MD-83 aircraft on the route.
Starting today, Allegiant said reservations for the new Denver-Las Vegas flights and vacation packages can be confirmed on its website at www.allegiantair.com, through local professional travel agents, or by calling its reservation centers at 888/594-6937 for "air only" and 800/432-3810 for Allegiant Vacations packages.
"We are extremely pleased to extend the Allegiant brand of low fare non-stop scheduled service to Denver area travelers," said Maurice J. Gallagher, the airline's chairman. As that market continues to build, we see an increasing demand for our service from Denver-area customers. With these flights at DIA, Allegiant will now operate low-fare non-stop service linking both Colorado Springs and Denver with Las Vegas."
