HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 21, 2003

The American School of Mortgage Banking (ASMB), the oldest institution of its kind in the country, announced today that it is beginning classes in Houston, where it will serve the city's ever-growing mortgage and lending industry.

"We are delighted to enter the exciting market here in Houston," said Bart Duesler ASMB's CEO. "With the housing market being one segment of the economy that continues to flourish, the need for well-trained loan processors and originators is enormous.

"Our curriculum is tailored for this region because all of our teachers are full-time mortgage-industry professionals who live and work in Texas and have intricate knowledge of the local housing market."

Classes will begin in June and will be held at various locations throughout the greater Houston area.

The American School of Mortgage Banking was founded in 1978 in Tustin, Calif. Its comprehensive, in-depth courses have trained thousands of mortgage industry professionals. It currently operates in California, Nevada, Arizona, Massachusetts, Georgia and Texas.
