Traffix, Inc. Announces Board Changes

Business Wire,  Nov 13, 2003

Business Editors

PEARL RIVER, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 13, 2003

Traffix, Inc. (NASDAQ: TRFX), a leading on-line direct marketing and database management company, today announced that Mark Gutterman, 48, has joined the Company's Board of Directors. Mr. Gutterman replaces Jack Silver, who resigned from the Board, effective November 10, 2003, in order to devote more time to his other business and personal interests.

Mr. Gutterman had served on the Company's Board of Directors from 1995 until his resignation in November 1999. Currently, he is Chief Financial Officer of Starpoint Solutions, LLC, a leading provider of flexible technology and creative solutions. Prior to joining Starpoint Solutions, Mr. Gutterman was the Co-Managing partner at the accounting firm, Feldman, Gutterman, Meinberg & Co. Mr. Gutterman began his career at KPMG in New York, and received his B.S. from Queens College, City University of New York.

In electing Mr. Gutterman to fill the vacancy created by Mr. Silver, the Board considered, among other factors, the fact that Mr. Gutterman is familiar with the Company's operations, satisfies Nasdaq's recently enacted "independence" criteria and has a strong financial background that would make him an asset to the audit committee, if he were so elected to such committee.

Commenting on these changes, Mr. Jeffrey L. Schwartz, Chairman and CEO of Traffix, Inc., said, "We are honored that Mark has agreed to serve on our Board, where his strong finance and accounting background, along with his business experience, should make him a valuable asset to the Company." Commenting on Mr. Silver's resignation, Mr. Schwartz stated, "We are grateful for Jack's valuable service during the past two years. His insight as an experienced investor in small capitalization companies has been valuable to the Company."
