Xerox Corporation's (NYSE: XRX) CopyCentre(TM), WorkCentre(R), WorkCentre(R) Pro and Phaser(R) office products have earned seven "Editor's Choice" Awards from Better Buys for Business, a leading independent authority on office imaging equipment.
"These new models have it all -- competitive prices, excellent technology and remarkable productivity," said Jonathon Bees, editor, Better Buys for Business. "Offices looking for a powerful printer, copier or multifunction device will be impressed with these systems."
The CopyCentre C55 digital copier, WorkCentre M55 basic multifunction system and WorkCentre Pro 55 advanced multifunction system led the 55 pages per minute category in the Better Buys for Business 2004 High Volume Copier and Multifunctional Guide for their economical prices and high performance. These systems were also recognized for their powerful controllers, which allow office workers to process different jobs, like scanning and printing, at the same time.
In the same guide, the CopyCentre C65 digital copier and WorkCentre Pro 65 advanced multifunction system won in the 65 ppm - 90 ppm category for their high quality, extensive scanning options and the ability to integrate with third-party software solutions. For example, using Xerox WorkCentre Pro devices and a third-party solution, system administrators can monitor and measure costs associated with printing, copying, scanning and faxing, thereby reducing waste and expenses.
Finally, the Phaser 7300 and Phaser 7700 color printers received "Editor's Choice" Awards in the Better Buys for Business 2004 Color Laser Printer & Business Ink Jet Printer Guide for their speed, excellent image quality and strong paper handling. The Phaser 7700 was also praised for its advanced color calibration and color matching capabilities - important features for graphic arts professionals.
"Xerox is delivering on its promise to provide new choices and new value to the office market, and customers are responding," said Emerson U. Fullwood, president, Xerox Channels Group. "The success of the Phaser, CopyCentre, WorkCentre and WorkCentre Pro lines - including numerous independent industry accolades - proves that Xerox offers an unbeatable combination of technology, service and support."
In May, Xerox won six awards from Better Buys for Business, which recognized the CopyCentre C35 and C45 digital copiers, WorkCentre M35 and M45 basic multifunction systems, and the WorkCentre Pro 35 and 45 advanced multifunction systems in its mid-volume copiers and multifunction guide.
In August, the Xerox WorkCentre M15 and M15i basic multifunction systems earned "Editor's Choice" honors in the analyst group's low-volume copiers and multifunction guide.
