MESA, Ariz.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 24, 2003

New No-Ladder(R) Hanging Kit, aimed at eliminating injuries

associated with holiday decorating, simplifies the

decorating process while saving time

Reinventing the methods that Americans use to decorate for the holidays, The Christmas Light Co. (CLC) today announced the availability of its unique, patented holiday products.

The products, available at Lowe's, Kmart, Wal-Mart, Walgreen's, OSCO and Ace Hardware, among others, include the highly innovative No Ladder(R) Light Hanging Kit, a package of specially designed grip clips and a telescoping steel pole to make hanging holiday light strands from house gutters, shingles and eaves faster, easier and safer; the Wrap-N-Roll(R), a special plastic reel used to easily store and protect icicle and mini-lights; and the Snap-N-Glow(R) Letter Panels, a system that homeowners can use to easily spell out messages using holiday lights.

In addition to being offered in retail outlets, the products are available on QVC, the No. 1 televised shopping service in the United States. QVC, the recognized leader in electronic retailing, reaches approximately 96 percent of all U.S. cable homes, and more than 18.5 million satellite homes.

"The No Ladder Light Hanging Kit is a revolutionary product because we've completely eliminated the inconvenience and hazards of climbing up and down a ladder to hang residential and commercial holiday lights," said Jamie Limber, president of The Christmas Light Co. "The safety factor, and the fact that a user can complete decorating in one-fourth the time it takes to decorate, makes this a must-have system for anyone doing their own home decorating."

To use the No Ladder Light Hanging kit, simply screw on a patented light clip to the end of the telescopic pole, extend the pole and either hang or clip the lights onto the eave, gutter or overhang of a roof, untwist the clip and move on to the next space until the strand is complete. The company designed the clips to fit on all roof types. The telescopic pole enables users to reach up to 16 feet, eliminating the need for a ladder, while saving time decorating.

The Christmas Light Co., which holds patents on more than 10 products, also focuses on custom decorating for shopping centers, office buildings and municipalities including one of central Arizona's most notable city holiday attractions over the past five years: "Glendale Glitters." For this remarkable event, which encompasses the city hall and adjoining park complex, The Christmas Light Co. installs more than 1 million lights on surrounding buildings, trees and bushes.
