SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 14, 2003

eHelp(TM) Corp., the makers of RoboHelp(R), today announced the release of RoboDemo(R) 5.0, the best-selling demonstration software for creating Flash-based demos and tutorials, or "movies," of any software or Web-based application with no Flash knowledge required. New RoboDemo 5.0 includes unparalleled rich-media support for sales and marketing, IT and technical support professionals to easily leverage rich media in their RoboDemo projects. RoboDemo 5.0 empowers users to leverage existing Macromedia(R) Flash content and video content while maintaining a small file size. This enables users to rapidly develop visually stimulating demos and tutorials of anything that appears on their computer screen.

"The unique strengths of RoboDemo 5.0 and Macromedia Flash are significantly more powerful when combined," said Jorgen Lien, CEO of eHelp Corp. "With RoboDemo 5.0, users can rapidly develop sophisticated demos and tutorials by combining the screen-recording power of RoboDemo with the rich-media capabilities of Flash."

RoboDemo records the use of any application, or on-screen activity, and instantly creates a movie in Flash format with visible and audible mouse clicks, as well as text annotations created with the AutoText Captions feature. Demos and tutorials created with RoboDemo can be easily enhanced with customizable text captions, audio, images, interactive text fields and click boxes, special effects and more.

"With RoboDemo 5.0, sales and marketing, IT, user support professionals, software developers and technical writers can further integrate Macromedia Flash content to quickly and easily create rich-media software demos and tutorials," said Silke Fleischer, product manager, eHelp Corp. "The design capabilities and penetration of Macromedia Flash enables RoboDemo users to deliver compelling software demos and tutorials that can be viewed across multiple browsers, operating systems and devices."

Significant New Features in RoboDemo 5.0 Include:

-- Flash Import -- allows users to leverage existing Flash content to save time and create dynamic, eye-catching demos. Anything that can be done in Flash can now be a part of a RoboDemo demonstration. Users can import Flash files into RoboDemo as an individual frame, or as an object within an existing frame. In addition, RoboDemo enables users to launch Macromedia Flash from within RoboDemo to make quick content changes.

-- Video Import -- Users can import AVI, MOV and MPEG videos directly into their RoboDemo projects. This makes it simple for users to create demonstrations with fully animated "talking head" videos that maintain an extremely small file size due to Flash compression. Adding video clips to RoboDemo projects makes the content more engaging.

-- Full-Motion Recording -- gives users the power to record on-screen rich media and animation, such as dragging and dropping, 3D animation and applications with drawing features. This allows users to create even more realistic demos that reflect the full capability of the application.

-- Project Templates -- enables users to create consistent simulations and speed development time by applying templates within RoboDemo. Templates can contain elements such as background and caption styles, playback controls and movie preferences. Users can create and save templates to build demos that match their corporate identity, or maintain a personal look and feel.

-- FLA Module -- An add-on to RoboDemo, the RoboDemo FLA Module enables users to easily import RoboDemo projects into Flash MX (and future versions of Flash), add additional effects and Action Script, and save projects in FLA format to integrate with other Flash projects. This enables users to combine the screen recording power of RoboDemo with the design capability of Flash MX.
