BABYLON, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 2, 2003

Flightdocs Inc. of Babylon, NY has announced a joint venture and partnership with DoberDocs LLC of Santa Fe, NM, an established provider of jet aircraft and helicopter maintenance document tracking software and services. Flightdocs gains copyright, development and re-branding rights to DoberDocs Maintenance Tracker(TM), Maintenance Logger(TM) and related software and services. DoberDocs will participate in Flightdocs strategic development and provide support.

The new Flightdocs Maintenance Tracker(TM) provides integrated logistical support to aircraft operators under 14 C.F.R. Parts 91, 121, 125 and 135 flight rules. Tracker is the first of a suite of products already available to help aircraft mechanics easily identify and plan current and future required maintenance inspections for one aircraft or an entire fleet. Tracker is available via secure Internet access or on a CD-ROM to run on a stand-alone PC.

Rick Heine, Flightdocs President, stated, "We've partnered with DoberDocs to deliver the next generation of aircraft maintenance tracking, dramatically simplifying compliance with FAA maintenance regulations and relieving the recordkeeping burden on jet mechanics. We provide an industrial-strength enterprise solution with an intuitive interface that allows mechanics to be productive from day one, with no up-front training. We partnered with IBM on the technology that drives our solution to give customers a proven and reliable solution anywhere and anytime they need it."

He added, "When we asked aviation professionals about the maintenance tracking challenges facing jet aircraft mechanics, they told us that only a powerful back-end service paired with a simple interface would give mechanics the timely control they need. We responded with Flightdocs Maintenance Tracker(TM) and expert support from our experienced aircraft professionals."

Flightdocs also offers e-Logbooks(TM), a sophisticated software-based solution that converts paper logs and records into searchable, indexed digital images using advanced OCR technology.

Flightdocs offers total aircraft maintenance management solutions in the U.S. and around the globe from its offices in New York, New Mexico, Florida and Washington.

Flightdocs is at booth #6143 at the National Business Aviation Association's NBAA2003 Annual Meeting & Convention at the Orlando/Orange County Convention Center on October 7-9.
