SAN MATEO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 20, 2003
Dorado Corporation, the leader in Web Services-based systems for home lending, today announced that GreenPoint Mortgage, a subsidiary of GreenPoint Financial Corp. (NYSE:GPT), has selected the Dorado .MOR(TM) Web Services platform to give their brokers seamless access to a leading national network of credit providers. GreenPoint is implementing this solution to reduce cost and strengthen broker relationships.
"Dorado .MOR provides an excellent integration platform," said David Anderson, senior vice president, e-Commerce for GreenPoint Mortgage. "Not only does it enable integration of new services, it closely manages communication between the application and services to ensure that data is transferred securely and reliably, even across the most complex network configurations. We expect this integration to streamline processes and reduce manual errors, which will decrease costs. Also, the solution will give our brokers more control over the credit ordering process and enable them to leverage their established credit provider relationships within e-Point." e-Point is GreenPoint's Web-based automated underwriting and pricing system , which is a combination of Dorado Wholesale ChannelMaster(TM) and Dorado PriceMaster(TM).
The e-Point-credit network-.MOR integration will move the credit ordering function entirely into the broker point of sale. Brokers will receive a full credit report back from the credit provider rather than a limited subset of data. When a broker then submits a loan to GreenPoint, the loan data and credit report will be automatically transferred to GreenPoint's existing loan origination system (LOS), thereby eliminating expensive credit "re-pulls" from the LOS.
"GreenPoint has been more than a customer to Dorado," said Dain Ehring, chief executive officer, Dorado Corporation. "They have been a proving ground for our core product strategy, and our interaction with GreenPoint has helped us shape the way we do business to better serve all of our customers. Their adoption of .MOR is an important milestone for the product and our company."
