BOCA RATON, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 21, 2003

ScriptLogic Corp. (www.scriptlogic.com), the leader in desktop administration software for Windows-based networks and Freedom Federal Credit Union (Freedom), announced today that Freedom has purchased ScriptLogic 5.0 licenses for their entire Microsoft Windows enterprise. Freedom is utilizing ScriptLogic 5.0 to aid in the rebuilding of its network based on new standards, to accelerate migration to Windows 2000, and to streamline ongoing maintenance of its network.

"I have been using ScriptLogic on my Windows servers and recommending it to my colleagues in the banking industry since 2000," said Wes Barnett, CIO for Freedom. "When I came to Freedom three months ago, realizing we had to rebuild our network from the ground up, I knew ScriptLogic would be a critical component of our plan for accomplishing this project in a timely and cost-effective manner."

Freedom is rolling out two new Windows 2000 servers this week with plans to migrate all of its desktops over to the new environment during the next 60 days. ScriptLogic 5.0 includes a wide variety of features to enable Freedom to quickly accomplish these goals, including the ability to map network drives, push applications out to end users expediently, standardize the look and feel of each workstation, lock down workstations, and activate the legal notice through deployment of login banners. Additionally, Freedom anticipates ScriptLogic will simplify the management and maintenance of its network once it is up and running.

ScriptLogic is point-and-click software that centralizes multi-function administration of today's ever-changing Windows-based networks through logon scripting, group policies, user profile and desktop management with an intuitive, graphical user interface and management console. ScriptLogic makes the complexity and limitations of batch, shell or other complex scripting languages and the need to create a universal logon script to manage Windows clients a thing of the past. With ScriptLogic, network administrators can manage Windows clients and applications more efficiently, precisely choose settings to apply to computer or user and deliver the configuration for each user as they login.

"We are very pleased to once again be working with Wes Barnett and his staff at Freedom Federal Credit Union," said Jason Judge, CEO of ScriptLogic Corp. "His continued confidence in ScriptLogic validates the success of our commitment to delivering the best available software support for network administrators."
