WILMINGTON, Mass. & SALFORDS, England--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 11, 2003

For the second time this month, Agfa Monotype Corp. has released the entire collections from select type foundries. Twenty-five fonts and font packages from Bannigan Artworks, Chris Costello and Joe VanDerBos are now available from Fonts.com, following the recent additions from Fontsmith and Baseline Fonts. The typefaces can be viewed at www.fonts.com/foundries.> "These latest fonts range from modern, energetic display faces to more somber designs influenced by letterforms of the past," said Allan Haley, director of words and letters at Agfa Monotype. "Fonts.com can accommodate virtually any design need imaginable. Our offering just keeps growing."

Designer Todd Hallock founded Bannigan Artworks in 1998. His collection includes Celtic-BA(TM), an uncial design with available ornaments, and the ultra-heavy Hallock(TM) family, an obvious choice for logos and headlines. The eight Bannigan fonts and font packages are available for Microsoft(R) Windows(R) platforms in PostScript(R) and TrueType(R) formats. Prices for individual Bannigan fonts begin at $22 with font volumes starting at $38.

Best known for designing the popular Papyrus(R) typeface (available through ITC and Fonts.com), Chris Costello runs his own type foundry. The 12 Costello fonts and font packages include Blackstone(TM), a calligraphic design that wears a historic look, and Virus(TM), a quirky and experimental face that Costello recommends for use in anything from sci-fi posters to rock band logos. Costello fonts are available in PostScript and TrueType formats for both Macintosh and Windows platforms. Prices for individual Costello fonts begin at $24 with font volumes starting at $48.

Illustrator and type designer Joe VanDerBos started his own studio in the early 1990s. VanDerBos's selection of imaginative typefaces includes the attention-grabbing, all-uppercase Beachbuoy(TM) family and CandyKitchen(TM), a design that has the look of an inline typeface drawn with a felt-tip marker. The five VanDerBos fonts and font packages are available in PostScript and TrueType formats for both Macintosh and Windows platforms. Prices for individual VanDerBos fonts begin at $24 with font volumes starting at $74.
